Hey there!
My name is Derek Konigsberg, and I’ve been dabbling in photography for most of my life. I’ve also had a long-standing passion for building embedded systems.
Ever since I set up my own darkroom, I realized that most of the existing darkroom electronics were based on embedded technology leftover from the 80’s and 90’s. While these old devices have some nice characteristics, they also have a lot of limitations that make them frustrating to deal with at times. Getting to work on the problem, I decided to see if I could leverage modern advancements and improve upon them.
I started Dektronics, Inc, as a way to further these projects, and to finally make them available to the rest of the community!
