Shipping

Dektronics ships primary through UPS and USPS, for both domestic and international orders. If your country is not listed correctly during checkout, or if you’d prefer alternative shipping options, please inform us via our Contact page. We may, at our discretion, update the available shipping options accordingly and may substitute alternate shippers if the selected shipper is not available.

Shipments are prepared and sent regularly. However, given that Dektronics is a small business without dedicated fulfillment staff, there may be shipping delays around various holidays or busy times of the year.

As a US-based company, Dektronics will charge US taxes as required for domestic orders. For international orders, any taxes and import duties are the responsibility of the customer.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all shipping information is accurate at time of checkout. Dektronics is not liable for shipments sent to incorrect addresses if incorrect or incomplete information was provided during checkout. If a package is lost in transit, it is the responsibility of the customer to file a claim with the shipper. Dektronics is not responsible for lost or stolen packages that are marked as delivered.

Warranty

Dektronics products come with a 1 year limited warranty.

The warranty covers verifiable defects in materials and workmanship. Packaging and mechanical components which are subject to normal wear and tear are excluded. Furthermore, the warranty does not cover failure or damage caused by improper use, negligence, tampering, accidental damage, or failure to observe any warnings outlined in the product documentation.

This warranty is offered in good faith, and Dektronics expects customers seeking warranty service to act in kind.

Dektronics reserves the right to request evidence of failure prior to offering warranty service. Dektronics reserves the right to ask the customer return their product for repair when appropriate, and will only replace products without return at their discretion. The customer is required to pay the shipping to Dektronics for repair, and Dektronics may refuse warranty service if the returned item is insufficiently protected against shipping damage. If Dektronics is unable to find an issue with the returned item, Dektronics may request the customer pay for return shipping as well.

Repairs

Dektronics will provide repair services for it’s products as long as it is able to do so; this will only be limited by availability of parts and materials.

Dektronics will require that the customer provide the extent of the damage and heed the recommendation of Dektronics with regards to whether repair is possible. If repair is not possible Dektronics will recommend that the customer purchase a replacement, if they wish. Dektronics will do it’s best to provide an accurate estimate of repair cost prior to the customer sending in their product for repair.

The customer will pay for shipping to and from Dektronics and Dektronics will only ship upon receipt of payment. Dektronics will provide a 90-day warranty on repair work.

Returns and Refunds

Dektronics wishes to offer a comprehensive return and refund policy. To this end, care must be taken to ensure that the return policy is not misused. The request for return and refund must be accompanied with an order number as proof of purchase, and must be sent within a period of 14 days from delivery of your order. Return shipping will be covered by the customer and when the item is inspected by Dektronics to ensure it is in working condition, a refund will administered, minus original shipping fees. The returned item must arrive in its original product box and in saleable condition or a refund will not be provided.

Foreign taxes, duties or other fees associated with purchasing any Dektronics product are not the responsibility of Dektronics and will not be reimbursed under any circumstance.

Note: The return window may be extended, at the discretion of Dektronics, if an ongoing customer support case about issues with the product stretches beyond the 14 day window.
